Message for Seniors National Voter Registration Day, September 28th ,

Seniors, you will be our nation’s largest eligible voting bloc in upcoming elections. Your generation of voters is

enthusiastic about civic participation and eager to make their voices heard, so get at it!!

Again, this year, Chippewa Valley Votes (CVV) will be sponsoring National Voter Registration information activities at Memorial High. This national event ensures eligible voters throughout United States can registers in their districts each year. Chippewa Valley Votes does not have a political purpose, rather we are nonpartisan volunteers that provide information for high school seniors on how to, where to and when to register to vote in Wisconsin

• Memorial Seniors: turning 18 years old means you need to register to vote

• Memorial Staff – if you’ve changed your address since last voting you need to re-register

• Memorial teachers and parents – here is an interactive power point that can be used in the classroom

or independently to register students: Voting 2020, Why does it matter?

Because of Covid precautions Chippewa Valley Votes volunteers will likely not be able to meet students in

person as we have in the past. Please feel free to contact us for assistance or more information:

Memorial on September 18th.

Blake Hanson-Violin, Lydia Mille-Violin, Max Ruben-Viola, Elsa Murray-Cello, Helen Gensch=-Cello and Sam

These selected students joined string musicians from Chippewa Falls, North, New Richmond and Hudson for a
