Fashion Design/Fashion StylistAmanda Semrad has taken her inspiration for her childhood love of “Grandma’s Sunday Dresses” and transformed the once classic vintage of our parents and their parent clothes into modern day classic and versatile trends from the past. Amanda’s unique vision and eye for a variety of different eras helps put the swing on today’s traditional clothing and inspires ideas of her own line called Vintage Fashion Renewal.

Amanda Semrad is in her second year as a design student at FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. She has mastered her skills in industry sewing, seam stressing, patternmaking, historical costume and Period Piece Knowledge. As well as including critical and analytical skills of color design, CAFD Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Amanda also runs her own online Vintage retail boutique for over the last five years and has worked in retail and customer service for numerous years and has applied a solid work ethic. In addition, she also won first and second prize for best costumes, for the annual Austin Children’s Shelter Charity Event in 2011.
