I always like words of James Allen who says, “Dream lofty dreams, and as you dream, so shall you become. Your Vision is the promise of what you shall one day be. Your Ideal is the prophecy of what you shall at last unveil.” I strongly believe that there is no more powerful engine driving a person towards excellence and long-range success until you have a vision of your life. Vision will ignite the fire of passion and allows you to transform dreams of greatness into the reality of achievement through action. Try to go against all evils of your life which have become obstacle of your path in achieving success. At last, I would like to say that dream big because if you limit your options only to what seems possible or reasonable, you cut off yourself from what you truly want, and all that is left is a compromise. From the Desk of Editors

Dear Readers,

Straddling through the Gloria mundi, COER has moved

through the creative passage from March 2013 to June 2013.

The audacious odyssey of our intellectual, academic and

prosaic journey will attain its apogee in the harmonious and

cohesive co-existence of one and all. The momentous

inchoation of the diurnal activity of June on one hand

welcomes the new denizens of our premier institute but on

the other it also signs good bye though temporarily to all

aesthetic souls who have acsthetieised the firmament of

COER. The ineluctable presence of sultry June is indeed a

discursive dialectic as its above presence propels the

COERians to begin the Journey a fresh. We have already

transcended the ephemeral problems to ornate the fulcrum

of the institute with all possible rococoness. The present

reality of ours has assimilated almost all dialectics that has

propelled our journey to attain zenith in coming issues of the

Saraansh.

Initiatives taken by COER School of Management

Sometimes in life you might not feel good and need something to inspire you and guide you in your life. Inspirational articles and motivational quotes have the power to give us the courage to pursue our life’s dreams. Having this concept in mind, Dr. V. K. Jain, Director of COER School of Management has initiated the following two activities “VICHAR MANTHAN” and “KNOWLEDGE CORNER”. Idea behind starting these activities for everyday is to galvanize people into action.

“VICHAR MANTHAN”, is collection of motivating articles which will spread the knowledge of self development among the people. These articles taken from newspaper “Danik Jagran” and “Times of India” are glued in a register which has been kept in library.

“KNOWLEDGE CORNER” will display thought of the day, Quote of the day and inflation in Sensex, Nifty, Dollar and Euro, Gold and Silver Price. It will help the students and faculty members to update themselves as well as motivate them.

Interesting Facts about Numbers…….

Zero ( 0 ) is the only number which can not be represented by Roman numerals.

Do you know the magic of no. nine (9)? Multiply any number with nine (9 ) and then sum all individual digits of the result (product) to make it single digit, the sum of all these individual digits would always be nine (9).

Here is an interesting trick to check divisibility of any number by number 3.A number is divisible by three if the sum of its digits is divisible by three (3).

12,345,678,987,654,321 is the product of 111,111,111 x 111,111,111. Notice the sequence of the numbers 1 to 9 and back to 1.

If you add up the numbers 1-100 consecutively (1+2+3+4+5...) the total is 5050.

2 and 5 are the only primes that end in 2 or 5.

A 'jiffy' is an actual unit of time for 1/100th of a second.

From number 0 to 1000, the letter ‘A’ only appears in 1000 (One thousand).

What comes after a million, billion and trillion? A quadrillion, quintillion, sextillion, septillion, octillion, nonillion, decillion and undecillion.
