multiple products

• Internet Explorer compatibility

Secondary Reasons to Migrate

• Upgrade Hardware

• Utilize 64 bit architecture

• Review available new features & functions

• Review & organize grids, reports, forms, etc

• Provide new & existing end-users training

• Support ever-expanding reporting requirements for

Tax, Government and internal reporting

Critical Success Factors

• Minimize end user training

• Maximize end user experience

• Making the transition as smooth as possible

• Successful knowledge transfer for Oracle EPM team

• Minimize Smartview transition

• Implement MSAD for HFM for SOX compliance

• Expand IT resources to cover all products/platform

• Ensure remote access via Citrix (for outsourced units)

and Juniper network

Timeline

April 2010

• Migrated HFM

• Migrated FDM

December 2010

• Migrated 9.3 to 11.1.1.3 to development and test

• Completed unit testing

February 2011

Why not migrate to 11.1.2?

• Minimize changes/training for end users

• Possibly wait until 11.1.2.2 has been released

Hess Environment

• Multiple instances of SAP worldwide

• Other GL & Data sources required for all units

• Utilization of IBM for Data Center & Server builds &

support

• HFM platform & HPS platform separate, at different
