    Tacoma 9 runs, 13 hits, 1 error Reno 3 runs, 6 hits, 0 errors RECAP: RF Stefen Romero and DH Jesus Montero each homered to lead Tacoma to a 9-3 win over Reno on Wednesday night. Montero (3x5, R, HR, RBI, SB) hits his 15th home run of the season with a solo blast in the 3rd innings, while Romero (2x5, 2 R, HR, 3 RBI, SB) hit a 3-run home run with 2 outs in the 6th inning, his 11th this season. C John Hicks (3x4, 3 R, BB) and 2B Zach Shank (2x4, 2 RBI) each recorded at least 2 of the Rainiers 13 hits, while CF James Jones (1x4, 2B, 2 RBI, BB) recorded one of the teams 3 multi-RBI games.     HEY NOW YOU ARE AN ALL-STAR: The Pacific Coast League announced that Tacoma Rainiers infielders Jesus Montero and Ketel Marte, along with right-handed pitcher Forrest Snow will represent the PCL in the First National Bank Triple-A All-Star Game. The contest will be held at Werner Park in Omaha, Nebraska on Wednesday, July 15 at 7 p.m. CST and will be televised on MLB Network. Montero and Ketel were selected as starters, while Snow was selected to the team as a reserve. This marks the second consecutive season that multiple Rainiers players will start for the PCL in the Triple-A All-Star Game. Infielders Chris Taylor, Nick Franklin, and Gabriel Noriega started for the PCL in 2014 and were joined by right-handed pitcher Logan Kensing.

    TRIPLE-A HOME RUN DERBY: Jesus Montero, Cody Decker and Peter O'Brien of the Pacific Coast League along with Jesus Aguilar, Dariel Alvarez, Matt Davidson of the International League, have been named the six Triple-A All-Star representatives to participate in the 2015 Triple-A All-Star Home Run Derby, powered by Omaha Public Power District (OPPD). The Home Run Derby will take place on Monday, July 13 at Werner Park in Omaha, Nebraska, at 7:35 p.m. CST, leading up to the 2015 Triple-A All-Star Game on Wednesday, July 15.

It marks the second-consecutive season that Howell has taken over as manager for a Seattle affiliate.
