In Math we are building our fluency with multiplication and division. We’ve learned about fact families, and we are trying to see patterns in multiplication and division. Please encourage students to practice their multiplication facts at home. In ELA this month we are focusing on our reading groups, comparing books in a series, and are deepening our knowledge of characters. We will also be learning about figurative language in the upcoming weeks- be sure to ask your child about idioms! In Social Studies students are learning about economics with Mrs. Boggie. Students are learning about the differences between goods and services and productive resources that are used in the workplace: Natural Resources, Capital Resources, Human Resources.
