Mission • Providing services with high standards of differentiation, applied
to Protection, Automation and Control (PAC) systems for VHV,
HV and MV electrical network.
Goal • To become recognized as a world reference for services
associated with PAC.
Mission and Objectives
Qualifications • Experience since 1997 in Protections Automation and Control (PAC) for Generation, Transmission and Distribution energy networks;
• Training from the different manufacturers and participation in seminars;
• Official Recognition by portuguese transmission utility as Protection Technical Manager for substations up to 400 kV.
Experience • Knowledge on equipment's from several manufacturers,
such as:
• Architectural design of substation automation, combining different equipment's from several manufacturers;
• Knowledge on communication standards, SPABUS, IEC870-5-101/103/104, DNP3.0 and IEC 61850, for substation automation system;
• Electrical protection coordination studies for Cogenerations (CHP), Industrial Facilities, Subways and Wind Farms.

• Busbar diffential and circuit breaker failure protection for 60 kV level at Rio Maior substation (REN) with Siemens 7SS52x solution;
• Configuration, test and commissioning for teleprotection scheme for EDP mesh network on distribution networks
• Turn key solution for existing bay retrofit to include differential line protection for 220 kV lines with Siemens 7SD523 solution (including electrical drawings, mounting, configuration, documentation and tests)
Developed Works • Turn key solution for protection (from ABB, SEL and EFACEC), automation and
control (from EFACEC, IEC 61850) for one 220/60 kV and one 220/60/30/15 kV substations for ENE, Angola
• Turn key solution for protection, automation and control (EFACEC complete solution, IEC61850) for 10 distribution substations to CADAFE, Venezuela
• Local team support for 3 substations 220/60 kV to ANDE, Paraguai. Scada from EFACEC, SEL protections, IEC 61850 communication standard.
• Energizing of a 110/20 kV substation to PPC, Greece (interconection to windmill park). EFACEC complete solution, IEC 61850 standard
