Project Brief:
In 2015, Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust stated its intentions that the
cook chill facility was in very poor condition and perpetuated inefficiency and energy waste as
well as a risk to the patients and hygiene legislation.
Improving the area and installing an efficient dishwasher unit with heat recovery provide
economy wash cycles and enhance the safety for the patients and the Trust.
Construction works to create adequate areas for effective and efficient use of the cook chill facility
include as follows:
