Hunting~ The Mohawk Indians hunted deer, rabbits, and buffalo~ They used bow and arrows, knives, and many other weapons ~ Boys were not allowed to hunt until they were old enough~The Mohawk Indians used snow dogs attached to sleds to hunt and travel in the winterSled Dogs

Homes

~ The Mohawk Indians lived in Long houses~ The long houses were made of wood and animal hide

Beliefs/ceremonies ~One ceremony they did was throwing tobacco on a fire and dancing around it on the first thunderstorm of the year.

~Another thing that they did was bowing down and talking to an animal after they killed it.

Farming~ The Mohawk Indians farmed corn, beans, and squash
