    Camp Piney 2015 has been the best one yet, enrolling 106 children the eighth year of camp!

    5 children accepted the Lord as their SAVIOR!

    Every day, campers chose between arts and sports skills. In the afternoon,

    campers enjoyed exciting, top-secret village activities! The Sheep Village was for

    campers in K-1st grade, 2nd and 3rd graders were in the Lion Village, and the

    Eagle Village was for our 4th-6th grade campers. Below in parenthesis are the

    names of people who volunteered their time for a particular skill one day and we

    sincerely THANK YOU!

    Each day, campers went to a chapel service specifically designed for their age group.

    During the week, Sheep were asked to memorize 2 verses, 3 for the Lions, and

    4 verses for the Eagles. Many campers met this special Chapel Challenge.

    We had great lunches by Director: Alfretta Kines, Ass’t Director: Larry Brinkman and

    other helpers: LaDonna Brinkman, Janice Glover, Amy Chester, Betty Chesnut,

    Beth Lockridge, Jennifer Speigner, Missy Bullard, Sharon Maze, Jennifer Chandler,

    Genevieve Walker, Dick Robbins, Glenda Abernathy, & Sarah Benefield. Other helpers at horseriding were: Ken Dobbs, Harvel Nyman, Jerry Benefield & Peyton Hancock!

    We had several bus trips and are truly thankful to Bro. Ricky, Joel Coker, Jim Silver,

    Wayne Early, and Patrick Walker for driving us!

    Thank you to our Pontoon drivers! They were Joe Hall, Bill Pruitt, David Morgan,

    and Keith Tolbert.

    Thank you to Greg Johnson and Esther Johnson for volunteering this week and to

    Wednesday Nights beginning JULY 8th! Kids - Wacky Wednesdays will begin. We will do something fun and different each Wednesday night. Meet in the gym each week! Ages 3 years to 6th grade!

    Adults-To go along with the beginning of Wacky Wednesdays, we will be offering a new class called “Renovate.” This study by Andy Stanley will be exploring the foundation and blueprints of God's original design for us and how we can get back to that. The video based series will be led by Bro. Casey in Room A211. Bro. Eugene’s class will continue to meet in Room A210.
