Problem Statement

Reliable Quantitative Data in Physical Therapy (PT) can only be Collected with a One-on-One Patient/Therapist Interaction

- Leads to multiple visits that are time consuming and costly

- PT may be skeptical of the reliability of data if not present

Solution

Create a simple, inexpensive, and portable device that can accurately measure physical therapy related motion

- Provide exercise feedback to user with simple interface

- Log exercise data for PT to analyze patient's progress

- Record reliable data to ensure PT's trust in device

- Reduce number of visits to the clinic
