Store and Forward• Delivery of messages to users not logged on to the system at the time a message

is created. • Essential in the delivery of information to mobile users when their vehicles travel

outside a specified coverage area or in a ‘Dead Spot’ coverage area. • When the mobile user returns to a covered area, the Premier MDC message

switch sends the information stored in its queue, after it receives any transmission from the mobile unit.

This ensures 100% delivery.

• Premier MDC utilizes 128 bit Data Encryption on all data transmissions.

• Premier MDC data is encrypted from end to end.

Checking Login Service Connectivity

• If you choose to Save your incoming message, it is saved on the local hard drive of that MDC.

• You can not obtain saved messages from other MDCs.• When you logoff, all read messages in the Inbox, Sent Mail

and Trash folders are automatically deleted. • To maintain the MDC properly, you should review your Saved

Mail daily at the end of your shift and Delete or Send them as appropriate.

Start up

• Wait for complete boot up before launching CDMA otherwise may cause delay of 1 minute

• Connection handled by Win XP instead of Sprint connection manager software.

• Auto-reconnects wireless if roaming out of range

• Blinking connection icon– Power cycle modem: turn off the modem and restart, then

re-launch CDMA.
