Unlike other surface cleaners, Minwax® Hardwood Floor Cleaner and Minwax® Wood Cleaner are designed to clean wood surfaces without leaving streaks or a dulling residue, which all-purpose cleaners may leave.

Q. How do I apply Minwax® Hardwood Floor Cleaner and Minwax® Wood Cleaner? A. Minwax® Hardwood Floor Cleaner can be applied with a mop or a cleaning pad. The Minwax® Hardwood Floor Care System provides everything needed to clean floors. When cleaning other wood surfaces with Minwax® Wood Cleaner, use a clean, damp sponge or cloth.

Q. What happens if Minwax® Wood Cleaner is accidentally used in excess on oiled, waxed or raw wood surfaces? A. Minwax® Wood Cleaner will not permanently damage wood. If the product is accidentally left on a wood surface finished with wax, the finish may turn white, as it would if water were left on it for a long period of time. Depending on whether the surface has oil, wax or is bare wood, always clean up the excess, buff the surface and then reapply either an oil finish or wax to protect the area, using fine steel wool.
