As a critical resource in the communities we serve, Stop & Shop has developed strong comprehensive weather related contingency plans across the entire division

Stop & Shop has a network of vendor partners as well as distribution warehouses located throughout the Eastern United States which allows us to immediately stock essential products in preparation for weather related events

As an emergency food provider, Stop & Shop works closely with local and state officials to ensure our delivery trucks can travel on state/local roadways leading up to and during significant weather events

Stop & Shop stores remain open during significant weather related events with small staffs (consisting of local associates). As a food provider, it is essential that customers have access to our stores even during the most difficult weather conditions

Stop & Shop uses a myriad of communications methods to update/inform customers on store hours, store locations and weather conditions, including email, social media, in-store communications as well as direct and live customer service interactions
