Following the above motivational quote of Swami Vivekananda ji, college is on a path to achieve its goal by

providing motivation to our students by involving them in various constructive activities. Nachiketa College

started on year 2005, under the leadership of young and dynamic Director, Mr. Harsh Kumar Patel. After all

necessary approvals from Department of Higher Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh and after seeking

affiliation from Rani Durgawati University Jabalpur, he decided to step in the field of Higher Education by opening

this college. He is inspired by his mother Smt. Shobha Ben Patel, Founder Director of Nachiketa Group of

Educational Institutions. She is also doing the same for the sake of Social & National Welfare. By the means of

Schools/ Colleges, Nachiketa Group is on the way of progression by creating responsible and educated citizens for

Nation. Dr. (Smt.) P. R. Chandra was appointed as an Founder Principal of the college she is well known

educationalist of the city. Under her commanding supervision College is progressing day by day. Presently college

is having Commerce, Computer Science & Application, Management, Arts & Science Department with 13 under

graduate and 06 post graduate programs having 1600+ student in all. College is having co-education with

admission ratio of 60% Boys and 40% Girls.

College infrastructure expands itself in to two wings New and Old with each of three floors Huge

Corridors, Spacious Parking, fully equipped Computer Labs with all modern software & Hardware as per syllabus,

Physics Lab, Electronics Lab, Computer Lab, Botany Lab, Chemistry Lab, Zoology Lab, Library Center, Auditorium

Hall, ITC equipped Seminar & Conference Room and more than 30 lecture halls.

Apart from availability of teaching infrastructure college is also having full facility for physical fitness and

sports activity including play ground, sports room, table tennis room & yoga center.

Colleges is committed for the overall development of the students to achieve this various cell are

constituted in the college headed by the team of expert teachers such as Swami Vivekananda Carrier Guidance

Cell, Training & Placement Cell, Personality Development Cell, Skill Development Cell, Social Work Committee

conducts programs related to student benefit like Carrier Fair, Job Fair on job training workshops and many

more. To inculcate the feeling of social responsibility among the student National Service Scheme (NSS) plays an

important role among them College is having is one girls unit of 100 and oneself finance unit of 100 boys. To

promote importance of human values and our culture; Heritage Club plays an important role among the student.

As college is co-education institutions so to promote gender equality and fearless atmosphere for the girls student

Women Empowerment Cell works specially for them.

To provide more emphasis toward the academic activity special clubs are runned by the various

department of the college like- Youth Commerce Club, Utkarsh Science Club, Computer Awareness Club, And

Prudent Management Club. Excellence Language Club performs various activity throughout the year by the means

of power point presentation, Revision Classes, Guest Lecture, Solving Old year Question Bank, Class Test, Quiz,

Seminars & Workshops.

inspite of all available facility, college belive in hard ship. Hardship in providing quality education to our

student which can be only achieved by the means of highly qualified and dedicated teachers for this all teacher

are appointed as per the qualification norms of UGC and Higher Education, State department.
