Attending project review meetings for evaluating project progress providing technical inputs to instrumentation methodology and ensured slippages corrective action is taken. Preparing schedule for project as per contract duration and material flow needs. Foreseeing performance bottlenecks and taking corrective measures to avoid the same.Engineering Management: Reviewing contract in terms of scope of work, obligations to client, schedules, possible areas of concerns, action plans, preparing agenda for kick off meeting with the client and collecting relevant information from various disciplines. Finalizing list of engineering deliverables as per contract in consultation with client. Checking specifications, layout/ equipment drawings, preparing specifications & data sheet for enquiries and finalizing subcontracts for engineering, procurement & construction. Handling detailed/ system engineering & logic diagrams. Undertaking site surveys; interfacing with Procurement Department to review status and take corrective action as needed. Coordinating with Expediting Team for delivery of equipment and materials in order to monitor status of equipment delivery by the vendor. Interfacing with suppliers to resolve technical issues and in case of any deviations understanding reasons thereof and deciding feasibility with existing arrangement. Interfacing with site to resolve queries which were sent to Project Engineer in terms of material not received, non conformance reports, drawings who then discusses and analysis the same with Engineering, Procurement and Expediting Teams as required to arrive at workable solutions for site. Instrumentation Construction Management: Managing site preparations, mobilization of men & material, sub contractors for carrying out erection activities. Ensuring site management and discipline to ensure safe execution of the projects. Ensuring Instrumentation works are carried out in a safe manner, meets project specifications and targeted deadline. Administering construction activities like installation of DCS/ESD Console/ Cabinet, Junction Box, Local Control Panel, Field Instruments like transmitters (LT, FT, PT, DPT, TT, VT), temperature elements like RTD, T/C, Switches like LS, FS, TS, PS, Gauges like PG, TG, LG, FG, Analyzers like SO2, CO, CO2, H2, O2, Fire & Gas Detectors, Manual Call Points, Beacons, Public Address System, Telecommunication System, Cable Tray Work, Cable Laying, Glanding & Termination, Process Impulse Piping & Tubing and Instrument Air Piping & Tubing.Pre-Commissioning/Commissioning: Attending walk down and pre start safety review (PSSR) with clients. Quality Management/HSE: Formulated Method of Statement & ITP for Installation of cabinets, Consoles, cable tray , conduit , junction box, field instruments (transmitters, local gauges, switches & inline instruments), impulse tubing, instrument air line, leak test , instrument earthing & loop checking. Sending RFI (Request for Inspection) to client for Inspection of the installation work & witnessing of calibration of instruments at calibration lab. Generating inspection reports for final check of instruments/cable tray installation/cable installation/cable insulation test/continuity test/, hydro test/leak test, JB/marshalling cabinet installation report as per ITP. Ensuring that all the Inspection Test Reports and Loop folders are prepared in time and Signed Off from the client. Maintaining HSE focus within the team assuring OHSE requirements across procurement & construction operations. Contracts, Administration & Management: Evaluation & execution of Contracting Works. Co-ordination among consultants, contractors and clients and in house Architects. Preparing the work specifications & finalization of requirements.
