Taking Boston: ‘Rendered Useless’ Last winter brought abundant snowfall to the North East. Consequentially, snowboarders did not hesitate to hit the streets. Jon Stark, with the help of Tanner Pendleton and Eli Olson, setouttofilmoneoftheyearsmostcreativeandheavyfilmsthiswinter.LocalridersincludingMike Ravelson, Parker Szumowski, Bar Dadon, Cole Navin and Nick Doucette tackle Boston’s streets among other locations along the East Coast.

Jon Stark has hallmarked “Rendered Useless” as the standard for progressive, creative street snowboarding; consisting of the newest urban spots and tricks recorded on film. Furthermore,Stark succeeded inmakingoneoftheyear’smostinfluentialfilms under an extremely low budget. With a DIY attitude, Stark ensured he captured the barebones, creative side of street snowboarding that often goes unappreciated. “Rendered Useless” can be purchased online at rendereduseless.bigcartel.com or at your local Eastern Boarder.
