Motto : Unity and Discipline

Aims : To develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship, discipline,

leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless

service among the youth to make them useful citizens. It also create

suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the

Armed forces.

Enrollment of NCC cadets

The enrollment procedure was held on 07/08/2015 in the College campus. A

total of 50 cadets were enrolled on the day. The NCC of our College with the

strength of 108 cadets which includes 64 SD Cadets and 44 SW Cadets. The unit is

affiliated to 14 (K) Bn NCC Pathanamthitta. The parades for the year 2015-16

started on 25/9/2015 .Dr.Varughese P.Daniel, Principal Inaugurated the Ist parade.

Blood donation forum

A blood donation forum was inaugurated on 7-8.2015. Lt.Dr Koshy P.M.

welcomed the audience. Conl.UK Nair Commanding officer 14 (K) Bn. NCC

inaugurated the programme. 65 students expressed their willingness to donate

blood. Proper records were maintained in the college. Senior under officer Rahul

Raj proposed vote of thanks.

Annual Training Camp

A total of 27 cadets attended ATC at SVGHSS KIDANGANNOOR, from

21-08-2015 to 30-08-2015

World Environment Day Celebration June 5, 2015

World Environment Day June 5, 2015 was organized by NCC Unit of

St.Stephen’s College Pathanapuram. The function was inaugurated by Kollam

District Panchayatu member Smt. Latha C. Nair by planting a sapling of

Bambusa valgari (Mulla). Dr Varughese P. Daniel (principal) and

Rev.Fr.N.J.Koshy (Local Manager) were spoke on the occasion. Lt Dr Koshy P.M.

(NCC officer) welcomed the audience. Cadets actively participated in the

construction of “Nakshathra Vanam” (Birth star plants) in the college campus.

INTER NATIONAL DAY OF YOGA JUNE 21, 2015

The International Day of Yoga celebrated with one day camp form 20-06-

2015 to 21-06-2015 at St. Stephen’s College Pathanapuram. A total of 273 cadets

from various institutions participated in the programme. The cadets were

accommodated in the College campus. The Yoga celebration started at 7am. and

ends at 7.35 am.

NCC Day Celebration 2015 on 21-11-2015

As part of NCC day celebration we have arranged a procession at

Pathanapuram. The rally was inaugurated by very Rev. C.O.Joseph Ramban the

manager of mount Tabor Daira institutions.

Gandhi Bhavan visit 21-11-2015

Cadets visited Gandhi bhavan on 21-11-15 and spare time with the inmates.

They also arranged cultural programme and gave donations. The programme was

inaugurated by Rev.Fr. K.V.Paul Secretary Mount Tabor Daira. Dr Vaughese P

Daniel and Conel U K Nair also participated in the programme.

Campus Cleaning Programme (5-12-2015)

NCC unit St.Stephen’s College arranged a campus cleaning programme on

5-12-2015. The programme was inaugurated by Principal Dr Varughese P.Daniel.

Cadets cleaned the campus and Biodiversity park.
