ATHLETICS This includes free admission to all regular season Athletic games, including a 4,000 student section for Bison Football. This also covers student-athlete travel costs and training supplies in order to help them be competitive.

CAMPUS ATTRACTIONS This includes free admission to events, such as Speakers, Comedians, concerts, the Live @ Lunch series, Homecoming events, on campus movies, and other campus programming events.

CAMPUS RECREATION / INTRAMURALS This includes participation in Men’s and Women’s Intramural sports including field rental, recreational equipment, and administrative costs

PERFORMING ARTS This includes free student tickets to music and theatre events. This also includes covering the various expenses related to theatre productions, musical performances, and athletic band expenses and travel, student tours with the Concert Choir, Wind Symphony, Madrigal Singers, Jazz Ensemble, and support for students attending musical and theatrical competitions/conventions.

CONNECT-ND This covers the cost to build and maintain the Campus Connection system to allow students to manage their accounts, financial aid, and registration processes.

CAREER SERVICES This covers professional one-on-one assistance with job search preparation – resumes/CV’s, letters, interviews; access to CAREERlink, an on-line employment resource to search for and apply to full-time positions and internships; five career fairs; on-campus interviews with employers; career-related workshops and seminars; and an internship program. This also covers programming and administrative costs.

MEMORIAL UNION This includes the utilization of the Union and Student Activities office programs. This covers the operation of the facility and various Student Activities office programs as well as the bond costs of the most recent addition to the Memorial Union.

CAMPUS MEDIA & MEDIA ADVISORY BOARD The Spectrum Newspaper offers high-quality content to students through bi-weekly issues of the newspaper as well as online access. This covers day-to-day operation of a student-run newspaper (equipment maintenance, stipends, office supplies, etc.) The Bison Information Network offers high quality ‘SU TV broadcasts on Channel 84 as well as this coverage in the Memorial Union. This covers costs of operation of a student-run TV station. KNDS (96.3 FM) offers high quality radio programming and coverage. This covers the costs of operation of a student-run radio station.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT This includes leadership opportunities and service opportunities in service of the NDSU Student Body. It includes programs such as Herd Hauler, National Student Exchange, Student Discount Card, Bison Pride Friday prizes, Student Organization Fairs, Good Neighbor Campaign, Get Out The Vote Campaign, and so on. The fee covers student stipends, programming/advertising, government advocacy events/travel costs, and office supplies.

STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS This includes reimbursement to student organization conference and competition costs as well as special projects and reimbursement of startup costs for unique events that are open to all students.

TECHNOLOGY This includes instrumented classrooms and computer labs, blackboard, wireless, TLMC training and support, IT infrastructure, classroom AV systems, equipment for Tegrity, servers, storage, licensing, access points, controllers, diagnostic tools, software, staff and student labor, equipment, miscellaneous network and server infrastructure that supports all aspects of IT service delivery.  

HEALTH / WELLNESS This includes access to the Wallman Wellness Center, access to services, and the use of Student Health Services Center. It covers the operations and maintenance of the Wellness Center as well as the payments the Aquatic Center Bond.  

LIBRARY This includes access to all of the electronic journals / databases, print periodicals, inter-library loan services, and professional library services. It covers subscriptions to electronic journals/databases/packages, a NEW Study Area in the Library, employees, and cataloging fees.  

NORTH DAKOTA STUDENT ASSOCIATION This includes advocacy of Higher Education at the State government level as well as connections amongst the institutions across the State of North Dakota. It covers administrative costs, website, student tuition stipends. BIKE SHARE This includes full membership for the use of the Great Rides Bike Share system with stations located on campus and in the community. It covers the bikes, stations, operations/maintenance, and the use of technology with your Bison Card. It is the first system with full Student ID integration at your fingertips.
