AMORE DANZA’S WOUND
SOMEHOW REWARDING !!
Amore Danza’s troublesome abscess
has proved to be a blessing in disguise.
During her time on the sidelines she
has matured nicely, topping the scales
at a very healthy 600kgs on her return
to the Edmonds racing stables. Toby is
excited by the condition she has
returned although it may take some
time to rid some of her holiday gains.
NEW COLT SETTLES INTO THE
RACEHORSE LIFESTYLE
Lucky Clover’s latest Magic Millions
purchase has settled in well at Kolora
Lodge. The Choisir x Wald yearling is
very comfortable in his paddock, eating
everything that comes his way and is
very relaxed. There are minimal shares
left in this boy at a reasonable price
and on goings. Please contact us if
you’re interested or for further
information.

INTERROGATED BY HARGERS
Lucky Clover’s Steve
Hargreaves asks the
hard-hitting questions.
In the firing line this
month is none other
than the super trainer himself, Toby
Edmonds.
1- Who’s your favourite NRL team?
Manly.
2- Favourite Movie?
Bohemian Rhapsody.
3- What do you do to relax?
Love to watch most sports on tv to
relax while having a beer.
4- What Group 1 race would you most
like to win?
Golden Slipper but any G1 is good.
5- Who is your favourite horse that
you’ve trained, excluding Lucky
Clover’s of course?
Houtzen is the obvious but any horse
that has a dig and runs to their ability.
6- What member of the Lucky Clover
team is most annoying?
Case, obviously because he is chasing
his youth hairdo and the whole lot and
has too much time to do nothing.
7- Which horse is the best you’ve seen,
past or present?
I thought Kingston Town, but I feel
Winx now, she is a superstar.
8- Are you a better at golf, cricket or
rugby league?
Golf although never got to full
potential at any of them.
9- Is it true you hit 3 sixes in one over off
a well-known English Colonel?
Yes, would you like me to elaborate?
S.H – It’s ok, we’re limited on space.
10- Who is the hardest worker on the
Edmonds Team, Donna, Jordan or
Trent?
All work extremely hard, love them all
as valued family and work colleagues.
11- Who is the best jockey you’ve seen
ride?
Darren Beadman has a lap on all riders
I have seen over 40 years.
12- Do you ever sleep in?
Sometimes.
13- Is it possible the Lucky Clover group
could become the next big thing in the
racing industry?
Yes, need to get me more involved in
the selection process and we will
flyyyyy. Second foals? Pullllllease.

INGLIS SALES PURCHASES
SHOWING PROMISE
Epplause and the unnamed Sepoy x
Dreamworker colts are showing some
promising signs early in their
preparations, having their first gallop
recently. Toby plans to get both boys
to a jump out this prep and it will be a
bonus if they can go further. He’s not
going to push them too hard to get to
the races this time out, whatever the
outcome he believes they are going to
make lovely 3-year olds.
COOLWEDGE ENJOYING THE
REWARDS OF WINNING
After Coolwedge’s win at Ballina in
January she was sent to the Edmonds’
Guanaba farm for a short rest. In the
mean time Toby decided to give her a
spell so she has stayed out at the farm
enjoying all the serenity it has to offer,
never mind the royal treatment the
horses receive out there.
