We are eagerly preparing for summer camp and want to share our program information and service opportunities with you. For the past 3 decades, we have hosted an inspirational week for adults with special needs. Our New Horizons Camp is open to 40-60 adult campers, who are able to participate in a variety of camp activities such as swimming, crafts, canoeing, a talent show, games, singing, dancing, and much more. Our campers are all physically able to navigate our camp site (some with assistance), and attend to their own physical needs (with reminders). We are looking for volunteers and staff who understand the joys and struggles of working with the “special needs“ population. Dear Friend,

Spring greetings from your friends at Camp Burton! We are eagerly preparing for summer camp and want to share

our program information and service opportunities with you.

Camp Burton New Horizons Camp 2017

Staff Training and Camp Set-Up 9:30am-5:30pm

Campers Arrive - Afternoon

Campers Pack Up and Leave by 12:00pm

Camp Clean Up / Pack Up Staff done by 4:00pm

Volunteers needed for the full week. We understand arrival times may vary due to personal schedules.

We are happy to complete any paperwork needed for volunteer hours, community service hours, internships, or

practicum.

Compensation: $200 for the week or a travel ticket up to $240. Pick up from SeaTac Airport, Seattle or Tacoma

bus and train stations.

All food and lodging.

Laundry and supplies available.
