The World Is Round!

By the time Magellan took a fleet of ships on a trip around the world, most people accepted that the world was round and that Columbus was wrong. Columbus never found Asia.

Although Magellan did not survive his journey, his voyage proved that the world’s oceans are connected, the world was round, and that Columbus was wrong.
