families! This will be our way of saying thank you for your support and dedication in helping our scholars and school succeed. There will be

games and food at this event. We look forward

to seeing you all on this

day.

Testing Begins this Week for Grades 3rd-7th!

Lets support our scholars and teacher leaders in the testing grades! This week,

testing begins for scholars in grades 3rd-7th. As a reminder, attendance

counts! Its important for our scholars to come to school every day, on time. We need our scholars present at school by 7:45 a.m. this week and next week.

Testing will begin promptly at 8 a.m. during state testing. Any scholar that arrives after 8 a.m. will not be able to test with their classmates, as testing has begun. We are a TEAM, and we want

to ensure all our scholars test together. So lets make this happen H.B.C.P families by

bringing our scholars to school on time! Perfect Attendance is what we need.

In addition, our scholars will need some energy boosters so they will stay focused during the testing weeks. We will provide

an Energy Booster goody bag to our scholars each day of testing.

H.B.C.Ps 1st Annual Talent Show called

H.B.C.Ps Got Talent! is Coming Soon!

This school year H.B.C.P will

host its 1st Annual Talent

Show called H.B.C.Ps Got Talent. The first audition was held on April 22nd and

the second audition was held

on April 29th. There will be

one more audition on

Wednesday, May 6 from

2:00-3:30 p.m. The audition

will be held upstairs in Mrs.

Funns office. Please come prepared to show off your

talent. Each scholar may

audition only once.

H.B.C.Ps Talent Show will be held on Friday, June 12th.

Time: 4:30-6:00 p.m.

Location: Sturges Center

for the Fine Arts. Make

sure to save the date so you

can see our H.B.C.P talent!

H.B.C.P is Still Enrolling for the 2015-2016 School Year!!

We are now enrolling for the 2015-2016 school year! We are enrolling scholars in grades K-8. If you know someone, send them our way. Anyone interested can go to the front office and see our school Secretary

Ms. Becerra for more information. If you refer someone, you will receive a FREE Hardy Brown

College Prep shirt upon complete enrollment.

Teacher Appreciation Week! This week is Teacher Appreciation Week for all our teacher leaders, education specialist (Ms. Thompson), aides (Ms. Banks/Ms. Roxana), and P.E. teacher (Ms. Tiara). All week we will be honoring our wonderful teacher leaders and

showering them with gifts of appreciation. You can do the same by bringing your childs teacher

a little surprise each day to say thanks! See below:

Monday: Give your teacher a High-five!

Tuesday: Make your teacher a card

Wednesday: Give your teacher a flower

Thursday: Bring your teacher a small school supply! (glue stick, pencil, eraser, dry erase markers etc.)

Friday: Bring your teacher a sweet treat! (They

love chocolate, coffee, fruit etc.)
