st Project Meeting Samsun, TURKIYE 13-16 November 2009

The first meeting of project ADHER-Adopt Your Heritage was held in Samsun and attended 4 participants from Romania, Lithuania and Slovenia. The coordinators of the project were welcomed by the representatives of the

Atakum Halk Egitim Merkezi, the coordinator of this Learning Partnership project funded by the Grundtvig Programme.

The meeting was started and chaired by Merve DUYGULU. All participants gave a brief presentation of themselves and their institutions. The general and specific objectives of the project were revised. Every partner shared some of the responsibilities. The meeting held on Atakum Public Education Center. Also Atakum Public Education Center was presented to the visitors

After meeting and lunch ,City tour began with Samsun Bandirma Boat Museum and Gazi Museum. After that Big mosque was visited.

Then Havza trip started to show participants the Hamam.At the dinner Participants listened to Kemenche.The next day visitors went to Amisos Hill and Ataturk monument. The general idea was that this meeting was a good start on their way to achieve their goals proposed in the application form.

The project partners will meet again in mid-April at Citta di Castello in Italy again
