190 Carousel Mall San Bernardino, CA 92401

Meet our Admin/Office Staff Welcome back HBCP families, and welcome to our new families at HBCP!

I would like to introduce the admin/office staff to our new families so you

know who we are. We look forward to working with all of our families

    this school year.

Attendance Counts!! So far H.B.C.Ps attendance has been great! H.B.C.Ps daily average

attendance goal is 96%! Lets bring our scholars to school on time, every

day. Perfect attendance awards/prizes will be given to scholars each

trimester. Make sure ALL scholars remain in class until dismissal time,

unless a doctor/dentist appointment is scheduled.

    Parent/Family Corner

Our families LOVE HBCP and we

    love our families!

I asked a parent (Mr. Cole) why he

loves HBCP, and he said, I love HBCP

    because its geared towards helping

African Americans, and I also like the

curriculum. I pass up six schools just

    to get here.

Academics Begin this Week! Hardy Brown College Prep always begins the first 8-10 days of school

with culture-building. For the past 8 days, your child has repeatedly

been taught the rules, procedures, and routines of the school and

classroom. This culture-building time teaches our scholars how to act,

talk, and walk while at school. We teach them how to be scholarly and

to have great character. This is our first week that we are opening the

curriculum books and beginning to teach academics. Make sure to

check your childs folder for homework and information from his/her teacher. Parent/Teacher/School collaboration is what helps your child

succeed. Lets have a successful school year!

Did you refer a family to HBCP? Last school year we ran a refer a family campaign. Any

parent/guardian that enrolled a new family at HBCP will receive a free

HBCP polo if the family you referred is still currently enrolled at HBCP.

Please see me (Ms. Allen) if you referred a family. I will take your name

and shirt size, and you will receive a free HBCP polo once they arrive.

Save the Dates We are excited to announce our schedule of Parenthood Meetings for
