    Welcome note.

    Happy Toastmasters New Year!

    The start of July marked the beginning of a new year

    for Toastmasters. So we have a new revampednewsletter to start the 2011/2012 Toastmasters yearoff and a new committee. Read below to meet the

    new committee.

    The Newsletter may look different but it will have all

    of your old favourites including the Photo competitionproviding you with plenty more opportunities to winchocolate treats!

    News.

    We had elections for the new committee and filled all

    roles except Sergeant at Arms. If you think you wouldlike the challenge of this role (not very challenging)

    let our new president, Allison know.

    We had a great midwinter dinner after ourToastmasters meeting on the 14th of June (see

    photos on next page).

    We have a new Area Governor, Mark Jory, who

    came and spoke at our club a few weeks ago.

    Club Officer Training was held on Saturday the 6th of

    August, we look forward to hearing feedback from

    those who attended.
