© Newsletter Attendance Last week’s attendance winners were… KS1: 2EG KS2: 5CF Reception’s Stick Man Trip to South Weald Country Park On Wednesday the children in both Reception classes visited the Stick Man Activity Trail at Weald Country Park. We had a great day - even though it was a little chilly! The rangers took us through the park visiting the different areas and we took part in some fun activities. The children made their own stick men and a highlight of the day was feeding the reindeer our left over apple cores! If you haven't been it's a perfect half term visit - the Reception children would recommend it! Team Points 1 st : RED 2 nd : BLUE 3 rd :GREEN 4 th : YELLOW 10.02.17 Change4Life Festival @ James Hornsby On Friday, ten children visited James Hornsby School for the Change4Life Festival. The children had a great day learning about healthy eating and nutrition. They made their own healthy lunch and then had a fun session in the fitness suite!

YearThree-EgyptianWorkshopLastWednesday,Year3steppedbackintimetoAncientEgyptandbecameexplorers!ThedaystartedwithahistoryworkshopwherethechildrenlearnedwhereintheworldEgyptisandhowithaschanged.Overthecourseoftheday,thechildrenlookedatandheldtreasuresandartefactsfromAncientEgypt,learnthowtomeasureusing‘royalcubits’andfingersaswellastakepartinapharaohembalmingandafuneralprocession.Thechildrenwerethoroughlyenthralledinallofthefunactivitiesthroughoutthedayandwereacredittotheschool.
