Why We Chose Niki Daly

• Theme is fun and playful for children.

• Illustrations are different than average picture books.

• Wanted to learn more about him and his work.

Interesting Information

• Daly first became involved in drawing by using pencil stubs handed down from an uncle who painted watercolor pictures.

• Inspired by a collection of toys arranged on the windowsill of his London studio, Daly created his pictures
