Eloisa-Fleur Thom, a prize-winning violinist in demand throughout the UK, made her solo debut aged eleven. Eloisa-Fleur has played concerts in Bridgewater Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields, Wigmore Hall and Kings Place. In August 2011, Eloisa-Fleur performed with the London Sinfonietta Academy for a BBC Proms Plus concert.

Mark Austin, a pianist and conductor, currently the Shinn Fellow at the Royal Academy of Music, London enjoys a busy performing career around the UK.

Nikolai Demidenko’s passionate pianism means he is in demand worldwide. At six years of age he went to the Gnesin School of Music then The Moscow Conservatory. Nikolai was a finalist at the 1976 Montreal and 1978 Tchaikovsky Competitions. He has been resident in the United Kingdom since 1990. Frequent London recitals have included the Great Performers series, the International Piano Series and recently the London Pianoforte Series.

The Trusler Carroll Wass Trio was officially formed at the 2012 Lincolnshire International Chamber Music Festival by three close friends who have collaborated in various forms over many years. The central focus of the new Trio is to create innovative projects, with a particular focus on exploring repertoire that isn’t performed every day.

“Christmas Truce”1914 swept ordinary people into a century of wars, but in mid-winter that same year, troops united incelebrating Christmas with their own unauthorised truce. This concert evokes a century of wars, people’s courage, humour, fortitude, comradeship and universal desire for peace and renewal that is Christmas.

Pemberton Old Wigan DW Band organisation boasts a Championship band led by Stig Maersk, a ‘B’ Band, recently promoted to the Second Section, led by Peter Ashley and a Youth Band led by John Don-Duncan. The Senior Band which is currently ranked in the top 30 in the 4barsrest.com rankings has qualified for the National Finals twice since 2009 and had numerous successes as a contesting band. The band, however, prides itself most on its innovative concerts and the three-tier organisation which serves the Wigan community.
