1. Pursuant to the implementation of sports activities related to the Palarong Pambansa in compliance to the provisions of the 1987 Philippine Constitution, Articles IT and XIV, Section 19 and RA 9155, this SDO through the Sports Activities In-Charge in SGOD shall conduct the 2018 Provincial Athletic Meet on November 21-23, 2017 at the Nueva Vizcaya Sports Complex, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.

2. The activity aims to: a. showcase camaraderie, discipline and sportsmanship among athletes, coaches and

other sports official. b. exhibit skills in the different sport events; and c. select the best athletes for the CA VRAA Athletic Meet.

3. Public Schools District Supervisors/District-in Charge and Secondary School Heads are encouraged to conduct their Municipal Athletic Meets to institute preparedness for the provincial athletic meet, however the following considerations should be observed: • Classroom teaching is not disrupted (establish instructional remediation through

instructional plans) • Athletes' academic performance is given remediation/integration • Signed parental consent forms are accomplished • All coaches/sports official possessed relevant skills and trainings.

4. Timelines, technical and working committees are hereto attached as DM Enclosures. Changes and revision will be informed and disseminated through addendum.
