Process Paper

• Times New Roman, 12 pt. font

• Double spaced

• No more than 500 words (total)

• Includes a cover page with:

– Project Number (no names)

– Title of Project

– Grade Level

• Four paragraphs:

– How you chose your topic

– How you conducted your research

– Why you chose the type of product

– How your project relates to the

contest theme

Annotated Bibliography

• List of sources used to complete research

• Contain annotation explaining how each

source was used (minimum of two

complete sentences for each citation)

Annotated Bibliography

• Follow the formatting from the Export

process, but also:

– Page Title: “Annotated Bibliography”

– Separate primary source(s) from your

other sources by placing them at the top

of the page with a subtitle of “Primary

Sources” and in order alphabetically.

– Skip a line, then add a subtitle of

“Secondary Sources” and include your

secondary sources alphabetically.

On History Fair Day…

• Completed triptych boards and accompanying

requirements should be brought to the South side

of the gym between 7:30 and 7:50 a.m.

(no student names on boards, only project numbers)

• Each student must have:

– 2 typed copies of their “Process Paper Set” (Cover Page, Process Paper, and Annotated Bibliography)

• Each individual or group project must also have:

– A completed triptych board
