Principal’s Message
Congratulations to our choir and dance troupe who
performed at the Goulburn Workers Club on
Wednesday night as part of celebrating Education
Week. Students from Goulburn and surrounding
schools combined to form a large choir, performing
beautifully for parents and community members.
Schools also had the opportunity to perform school
acts. Our dancers represented us magnificently,
dancing to ‘Cheap Thrills’ and ‘Uptown Funk’.
Thank you to Mr Taylor and Miss Morgan who
gave up many lunch times to support our students
and ensure our school participated.
Congratulations also to our Premier’s Spelling Bee
winners. Our Year 3 and 4 winners are Audrey
Paul and Natalie Jones. Our Year 5 and 6 winners
are Jordan Masterton and Emily Weston. These
students will represent our school at the regional
final later on in the term. Well done!
Thank you to those parents and grandparents who
visited their child’s classroom for Open Day. Your
children love you to come to school and it is a
great way to get to see what your child has been
learning. We have an array of amazing art works
completed as a result of yesterday’s activities
which we will try to display for all to see. A special
thank you to Mr Peter Swain for sharing his stories
with us.

Open Day
Today our school had an Open Day with parents coming to visit their child in the classroom to see
the wonderful work they have been doing.
Mr Peter Swain was in the hall with a presentation on how we are connected with our own stories
and family lines. The Aboriginal people communicated with Art, Dance, Stories and Song!
