I, Thomas Anthony Lewis, Chairperson of the Place Names Committee for the

Northern Territory, as the delegate of the Minister for Lands and Planning,

under section 11D(1) of the Place Names Act, give notice that:

(a) on the recommendation of the Committee, I have approved the naming

of Collard Road in Humpty Doo; and

(b) the location of the road is as indicated on Compiled Plan 5503, which

may be inspected at the office of the Surveyor-General, 3rd Floor

NAB House, 71 Smith Street, Darwin; and

(c) the name is recorded in the register kept by the Committee, which may

Plant Health Act

Termination of Appointment and AppointmentActing Chief Inspector of Plant Health

I, Willem Rudolf Westra van Holthe, Minister for Primary Industry and

Fisheries:

(a) under section 52(1) of the Plant Health Act and with reference to

section 44(1) of the Interpretation Act, terminate all appointments of

persons to act as Chief Inspector of Plant Health in force immediately

before the date of this instrument; and

(b) under section 52(1) of the Plant Health Act, appoint Ian Arthur Curnow

to act as the Chief Inspector during all periods when:

(i) one of the following applies:

(A) the Chief Inspector is absent from duty;

(B) the Chief Inspector is otherwise unable to exercise the

powers, or to perform the functions, of the Chief Inspector;

(C) the office of Chief Inspector is vacant; and

(ii) no other person has been appointed to act as the Chief Inspector

during the particular period of absence, inability or vacancy; and

(c) under section 52(1), appoint Malcolm Laurence Anderson to act as the

Chief Inspector during all periods mentioned in paragraph (b)(i)(A)

to (C) when:

(i) Ian Arthur Curnow is unable, for any reason, to act as the Chief

Inspector; and

(ii) no other person has been appointed to act as the Chief Inspector

during the particular period of absence, inability or vacancy.
