NOTICE OF ADMISSION AGAINST ONE (01) VACANT SEAT UNDER
BACKWARD CLASSES (Annexure-II, for Bihar Domicile only) AT CNLU
PATNA FOR B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) / B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) COURSE FOR THE
ACADEMIC YEAR 2015-16

Candidates who appeared for CLAT-2015 for Admission to B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) / B.B.A., LL.B.
(Hons.) Course for the Academic Year 2015-16 and are willing to take admission for ONE
SEAT under Backward Classes (Annexure-II, for Bihar Domicile only) in our University are
hereby directed to send the scanned copy (in JPEG format) of the Demand Draft (DD) of
`1,76,000/- (Rupees one lakh and seventy six thousand only) drawn on any nationalized bank in
favour of THE REGISTRAR, CHANAKYA NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, PATNA
payable at Patna along with the following details through email to:
[email protected] on or before 13th
July 2015.

Such candidate will be informed about probability of his/her admission subject to vacancy and in
order of the All India Rank of CLAT 2015 results, latest by 14th
July 2015 through our website
and he / she shall take the admission in person on or before 16th
July 2015 between 2.00 pm and
5.00 pm failing which the candidate will forfeit the claim to the seat, if any, in this Academic
Year 2015-16.
At the time of admission, the candidate shall bring all original documents including the original
Demand Draft which was scanned and sent to the University earlier.
Please note that if the scanned copy of DD for `1,76,000/- of the candidate does not reach the
office with the above mentioned details on or before the due date, i.e., 13th
July 2015 the
candidate shall not be considered for admission. No further enquiry shall be entertained in this
regard.

NIFT, etc. University shall not consider such candidate for admission. Merely sending the
scanned copy of the DD does not guarantee admission. In case of vacancy, only after thorough
verification of documents the candidate will be provisionally admitted. However, if any
document is found to be false or incorrect at any point of time, the admission stands cancelled
automatically.
Documents required at the time of admission:-
1. School/College Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate (Original)
2. Migration Certificate (Original)
3. Character Certificate (Original) from the institution last attended indicating that he/she
has never been found guilty of misconduct during the study period.
4. Original Matriculation certificate or Mark Sheet where Date of Birth is clearly
mentioned. (Attested photocopy and original for verification)
5. Mark Sheet of Matriculation (Attested photocopy and original for verification)
6. Mark Sheet of Intermediate (Attested photocopy and original for verification)
7. Caste Certificate (Attested Photocopy and original for verification) . The Caste
Certificate from Bihar State Authority should clearly mention the category to which
the candidate belongs.
8. Medical Certificate of good health along with blood group.
9. Four Passport size photographs.
10. Four Self-addressed envelopes.
11. One Passport size photograph of the Local Guardian who shall be a near/close relative.
12. Admit Card of CLAT – 2015 (Original signed by the invigilator)
13. DD of `1,76,000/- drawn in favour of REGISTRAR, CHANAKYA NATIONAL
LAW UNIVERSITY, PATNA payable at Patna, scanned copy of which was sent to
Parents and candidates are requested to come with filled in affidavit form issued from UGC
regarding ragging matters at the time of their counselling (See annexure II & III).

ANNEXURE-‘I’
Rules relating to refund of fees as applicable
a. In respect of the candidates who do not turn up for the interview on the specified date after
depositing the fees, 20% of the tuition fee will be retained by the University and the balance amount
will be refunded.
b. In respect of the candidates whose admissions are confirmed after interview and who leave the
University and the consequential vacancy is filled up, 30% of the tuition fee plus admission fees and
admission processing fee (in case of CLAT candidates, ` 27,000+ ` 1,000+ ` 5,000/- and in case of
FN/NRI/NRI Sponsored Category, ` 75,000+ ` 1,000 + ` 5,000) will be retained and the balance
amount will be refunded. Other charges if any, due to the University, will be collected.
c. In respect of the candidates who leave the University and the consequential vacancy does not get
filled in, the following amounts will be retained by the University and the rest will be refunded:
For CLAT candidates:
Tuition Fee Rs 90,000/-
Admission Fee Rs 1,000/-
Admission Processing Fee Rs 5,000/-
For FN/NRI/NRI Sponsored category
Tuition Fee Rs 2, 50,000/-
Admission Fee Rs 1,000/-
Admission Processing Fee Rs 5,000/-
Facilities Fee and Room Rent will be retained pro rata on monthly basis. Mess dues are to be paid by the
candidate or will be deducted from the amount to be refunded.
