Fearless
This month, we have explored together in worship the ways that fear gets in the way of our stewardship, and have sought alternatives to that fear in the Scriptures. We have talked
about what it means to fearlessly refuse the world’s definition of value, and to fearlessly receive God’s gift of grace. This week, we welcome back Dr. Joe Kutter to preach the third
and final sermon in our series:
November 22: Fearlessly ReturnFearlessly ReturnFearlessly ReturnFearlessly Return (Rev. Dr. Joe Kutter, preaching)
Malachi 3.8-15
Meanwhile, we continue our congregational conversation about stewardship this month, talking and planning and praying through the coming year’s ministry plan, as we seek to
move from a perspective of fear to one of abundance.
This Sunday, following Dr. Kutter’s sermon, we will be receiving our pledges (for those who have not already turned them in) as a part of our worship. If you need a pledge card, there will be cards available Sunday, or you may contact the church office. Please continue to be in prayer for our ministry plan for next year, and for ways that you can contribute to that
ministry in 2016.
