COURSES: 72 TOTAL CREDITS REQUIRED The Nursing associate degree provides you with a foundation built around clinical decision-making processes and the provision of nursing care to meet the health needs of patients throughout their lives. Through the classroom and laboratory experiences in the program, you will be prepared to pursue career opportunities as a registered nurse. Graduates are prepared to take the NCLEX-RN Examination upon graduation. Students will be required to take the NCLEX review course and pass the NCLEX-RN test prior to obtaining employment as a registered nurse. Clinical sites and employers will require background checks and drug screening. The associate degree in Nursing is offered exclusively at our Akron, Bayshore, Eastlake, Parma, Richmond and Wauwatosa campuses.
