A single electronic submission can contain multiple applications. This page allows you to view the submission details of a single feature type.

details of the Tenure Access by clicking Tenure tab



Tenure Tab Details Mandatory fields populated based on

logon ID• HQ Users select district you are working with

Project Type details are displayed Status Field indicates where Tenure is in

business cycle

You will not be able to modify any data for the Tenure until the associated spatial submission has been approved

What is an Agreement Holder? Rec Project may have none, one, or many

Agreement Holders Agreement Holders:• Work on behalf of government to manage Rec

Project• May be responsible for Rec Project for

duration of project or a set timeframe

An Agreement Holder must exist in the CLIENT System



Where are Agreement Holders Entered? FTA702-Recreation Project Agreement

Holders page Access by clicking Agreement Holder tab You may enter, update, delete or view

Agreement Holders• When you use the delete function, you are

deleting the association of the Agreement Holder with the Rec Project

Do not select a Deactivated Client as an Agreement Holder



What are Rec Structures? Physical structures found within a Rec

Tenure Examples:• Boat Launches, Boardwalks, Litter Barrels,

Tables, Signs, etc.• Refer to Appendix B (Structure Dimension

Combinations) for complete listing of structures and their attributes

Trails and Trail Segment(s) and associated repair details are now tracked on the FTA705-Recreation Trail Segments page



Where are Rec Structures Entered? FTA703-Recreation Project Structures

page Access by clicking Structures tab Examine:• Structure Details• Structure Rollup

User may enter, modify, delete of view Structure Details



What are Rec Project Activities? Rec Project may have 1 or more

activities associated with it Activities define use for geographic

area Examples:• Angling, Swimming & Bathing, Canoeing,

Ski Touring, Mountain Biking, etc.



Ranking Activities Activities within Rec Project need to be

ranked• Mandatory to rank activities 1, 2, and 3• Optional to rank activities 4 and beyond

For example:• 1-Angling• 2-Canoeing• 3-Swimming & Bathing

User may enter, modify, or view Activity Details



What are Trail Segments and Repair Details? Within a trail, site, or interpretive forest

there are smaller trails known as trail segments

Trails and trail segments may require repair

FTA can be used to record• Trail repairs to whole project trails• Trail repairs to trail segments



Where are Trail Segments and Repair Details Entered? FTA705- Recreation Trail Segments page Access by clicking Trails tab Use to enter, update, cancel, delete or

view trail segments and their associated repair details



What are Project Objectives? Rec Project may have one or many

Project Objectives associated with it Objectives:• Help Agreement Holder(s) understand

purpose of the Rec Project• Change over time• May be amended or cancelled

What are Project Defined Campsites? Rec Project may include a Campsite Defined Campsite meets criteria for

Excellent or Good rated campsite• See Appendix C of Participant Guide

Useful to track Defined Campsites & associated Remedial Repairs• Brushing, Clean, Major Repair, Minor

Repairs, Remove, or Relocate



Where are Project Defined Campsites Entered? FTA707- Defined Campsites page Access by clicking Defined Campsites tab Two Sections:

• Populate• Campsite Details• Campsite Repair History

Use to enter, update, delete or view campsites & repairs



What are Project Comments? A Rec Project can have comments

including:• General Project Details• Driving Directions• Project Closure Information

Comments may be available on the Recreation WebMap

Comments must be accurate and professional

Add an Associated File Associate Rec Tenure in FTA with one or

more files For example:• Single Agreement Holder may have more than

Understanding File Associations Rec Tenure in FTA can be associated

with one or more files Associated Files may be: • Within FTA – associate Rec Tenure with

another FTA Tenure• Outside of FTA – associate Rec Tenure with a

Tenure from another ministry

Files tab On this page you may enter, update,

delete, or view file associations



Understanding the Two Way Association If you associate a Rec Tenure with

another file in FTA, that file will now also show an association to your Rec Tenure



Understanding Notes Allows you to attach a note to your Rec

Tenure Once a note is entered & saved, a “Notes

Attached” message displays • Provides notification to others examining the

Tenure that a note exists• District, Region & Headquarters’ users with

read access may view note

Always ensure the information you enter in the note is appropriate



Where are Notes Managed? FTA970 – Forest Notes page Access this page by clicking the Notes

tab On this page you may enter or view

Notes

You can NOT delete a Note. Once you have entered it, it is always associated with the Rec Tenure.

submission




What is Archiving? Archiving a Rec Tenure changes that

status from HI to AR

with Geomatics Technicians
