OBITUARY
Brent W. Magill, age 80, departed his earthlydwelling or his inal adventure on the 25th oOctober, 2014, with his loving companion, PatHallett, at his side. Service or Brent will be held at Our RedeemerLutheran Church in Nashua, Montana, on November1st, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be held at theHighland Cemetery in Glasgow, Montana. Bell
Mortuary is in charge o arrangements.Brent was the eldest child o our born to Walter
H. Magill and Josephine Alice (Russell) Magill. Hewas born on the 2nd o June, 1934, in Sheridan,Wyoming. His brother Keith joined him three yearslater and their sister Karen ollowed in another yearater the amily relocated to Cheyenne, WY. hatwas the beginning o a childhood that covered manytowns in Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Colorado andNew Mexico. Sister Sandy arrived ater they movedonce again, this time to Cody, WY. He had childhoodmemories o amily picnics at Devils ower, WY andspecial memories o lie-long riendships ormed inGreybull, WY in the mid 40s and in Aztec, NM inthe early 50s. Vacations were special times spent in
Clark, CO at the grandparent Magills ranch. Brents ather was a surveyor or oil companieswhich led to the amilys nomadic lie. he continuousdisruption o changing schools, oten mid year, wasa constant in Brents lie but it provided a wealtho education/ experience never taught in schools.At two years o age, he was taken seriously ill withRheumatic Fever that damaged his heart. He lovedplaying ootball but was not allowed to participate inthe sport with the weakened heart. he highlight ohis senior year was when he managed to get a doctorspermission without parental knowledge and played
on the Aztec VARSIYootball team. Brent graduatedrom Aztec High Schoolin 1953. While still inhigh school and atergraduation, he workedin the New Mexico oilields or several years.
Brent always said theonly reason he cameto Glasgow was to joinhis amily or Christmas and he never let! In 1969,Brent graduated rom Northern Montana College inHavre, M majoring in drafing and also obtained adegree in Construction Engineering. He then taughtVoech/Industrial Arts at Glasgow High School orseveral years beore his employment with the Cityo Glasgow as the Assistant Public Works Director/Engineer. Upon his ather, Walter Magills retirement,Brent ollowed in his ootsteps by assuming the PublicWorks Director / Engineer position. In 1993 Brent retired rom the City o Glasgow.He loved to hunt and spent many outings with
riends and his brother-in-law, Curt Dassonville.Brent especially enjoyed boating and the time spentat his cabin at Ft. Peck Lake. You could always indBrent accompanied by his aithul dog, Cuda. Brent was preceded in death by his parents, Waltand Jo Magill, and his brother Keith Magill. Brent issurvived by his companion o 25 years, Pat, as wellas her children and grandchildren, his sisters, Karen(Curtis) Dassonville, their daughters and amilies,Sandy Wolczak and son and amily, sister-in-lawLinda Magill, son and daughter and amily, andmany cousins.

Rose Dean Gay wasgranted her angelwings at her long-timehome in Glasgow, Mon October 25, 2014.She was born in WolPoint, M on October10, 1932 to Tomas &
Victoria (La Roque)Beauchman where sheattended school. Dean moved with her parents and 9brothers and sisters to Fort Peck in the 1950s. She wasa nurturing soul and went to Maryland to help care orher niece while in her teens. During the train trip backto Montana, she met the love o her lie, Donald GlenGay who was on his way to serve in the military. Teromance took root and they married in Glasgow onAugust 16, 1952. Four children soon ollowed - DonaldFrancis, Daniel John, D!:nnis Wayne and Diana Jean.Te amily ollowed Dons construction work all aroundMontana and Colorado. Tey finally settled or goodin Glasgow in 1971. She loved children and ound herniche providing day care, taking in oster children and
being a home maker. She was known to everyone asGrandma Dean. She will be remembered ondly by heramily, riends and all her adopted grandchildren. The Opheim School held a Halloween literacy event on Friday, October 24th. To begin the
event Adler Morgan read Scary Cat Splat to the frst and second graders. The elementary
staff and Supt. Tony Warren dressed up in Halloween costumes and acted out the story
Room on the Broom as Mr Warren read the story to the children. Mr. Warren was the
Halloween Witch who offered Mrs. Cathy Bailey t he black cat, Mrs. Kristy Morgan the dog,
Mrs. Debbie Arnold the bird and Mr. Shane Bartschi the frog, a ride on the witches broom.
Mrs. Anne Welch was the devil who tried to sabotage them, but left apologizing to all.
