Graduating Student Survey: April 2014

This Alumni Survey, the first one to be administered by the Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE), was conducted during January – April, 2014. The population surveyed consisted of those alumni who had completed a year after their graduation i.e., those who had graduated during the academic year 2011-12. There were 728 alumni in this group. Initially, the survey used targeted email messages to solicit responses. Each person’s RangerMail email address was used, while 584 alumni also had an alternative email address on file. Due to incorrect addresses, 150 of those messages failed to be delivered to the recipients. In order to improve response rate, in the latter part of the survey period a survey link also was distributed through social media, inviting those who graduated during AY 2011-12 to participate. By the end of the survey period, a total of 84 responses were received, resulting in a response rate of 12%. This report presents the frequency distribution of responses for the questions in the survey.
