OnSite OffSite details eight months of work at Glasgow Architectural Salvage and various sites throughout the central belt of Scotland. This book documents the environment, people, travel and objects involved in the reclamation and restoration of architectural features and objects. GAS continues in the long tradition of the rag and bone trade, with locally reclaimed architectural materials being recycled back into the system by a dedicated staff. Paul T Cowan is a freelance photographer based in Leith near Edinburgh. He works in edi-torial, documentary, architectural and interior photography. He has a degree from Edinburgh College of Art in Sculpture but later moved into lens based image making.
