Tonight: ONE BECAUSE OF HIM #2. We will continue our discussion from this morning, diving deeper into the timing, the cup,
the garden of Eden and the difference it makes in our lives today.
Next Steps
If you are in conflict with someone here at this
church, serve them in some way this week.
Read Matthew 26:36-41 three times this week
and pray for our unity.
ONE BECAUSE OF HIM
Matthew 26:36-38 …and he said, “Sit here while I go over
there to pray.” 37 …and he became anguished and
distressed. 38 He told them, “My soul is ____________
with grief to the point of death.
26:39 … let this ___________ of suffering be taken away
from me.
Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”
Full divine ______________
Matt 27:46b My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?
Horror is the _____________
Not just absence of love but presence of __________
Patience with people
Matt 26.40 Then he returned to the disciples and found them
_____________
41 …the spirit is ____________, but the body is _____________!
2 Cor 5.21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that
in him we might become the righteousness of God.
“Thankful for the way we are able to accept those that are different from ourselves.”
“Appreciative of the loving acceptance.”
“Thankful for the open hearts that say, ‘Come’.”
“Appreciative of the desire to listen to where the Holy Spirit leads us.”
“I love the feeling of family.”
“I appreciate the way we care for each other.”
“I am thankful for our Bible class and Life Group.”
“I appreciate the closeness and friendships we have in our congregation.”
“So thankful for the good lessons we have.”
Be thankful In all circumstances,
for this is God’s will
for you who belong
to Christ Jesus. —1 Thessalonians 5:18

Reading Glasses for Haitians
The Haiti mission trip is less than 3 weeks away and we are looking
for over-the-counter reading glasses to take with us to provide for those
we will find in need of them. If you have any you would like to donate,
or would like to give money for us to purchase some, please see or con-
tact Todd Hook. Some of the best around are the 4 packs at Sam's club
for about $20.
