"BIG FISH FRIDAY" Event Friday July 10th, 2015

Registration: $100.00 entry fee per team Must be entered into the Budweiser CanAm Walleye Challenge main event to participate. Must be entered and paid in full by Wednesday July 1st, 2015.

Rules and Regulations: 1) Fishing time starts at 6:00 a.m. 2) Your fish must be brought in to the weigh station and registered by a Big Fish Friday Official NO LATER THAN 3:00 P.M. SHARP. 3) No water or loose ice is permitted in your cooler; only blocks or cubed ice in a sealed bag is permitted. 4) Teams are only permitted to bring in and register ONE FISH at the weigh-in station. 5) Weigh-in will start at 3:15 p.m. 6) All MNR/DNR regulations will apply. 7) Any person/team found to be in violation of any rule(s) will automatically be disqualified. 8) The winning teams will be announced and paid out at the Captain's Meeting Friday evening.

2015 BUDWEISER CANAM CHALLENGE

RULES & REGULATIONS

1) Fishing hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday July 11th, 2015.

Foul weather date is Sunday July 12th, 2015; same fishing hours.

2) Any team member who is 16 years of age or under must provide tournament officials with a waiver form

signed by a parent or legal guardian in order to enter.

3) Each individual competitor upon registering to enter the 2015 Budweiser CanAm must sign a waiver holding

the sponsors, their agents or employees, harmless from liability of any nature or for any injuries/damages

suffered by entrants during the period that this tournament is held.

4) TOURNAMENT BOUNDARIES: Waters of Lake Erie, the upper Niagara River and lower Grand River. All boats

are to leave Sugarloaf Harbour by water. Boats leaving the break wall area at the canal prior to official start

time will be disqualified. NO BOAT is to precede the official patrol boat. All boats MUST enter and exit at the

port of Port Colborne via the canal entrance through the break wall and in through the retaining wall

adjacent to the Grain Elevator.

5) Teams may have two (2) to five (5) anglers per boat.

6) A maximum of eight (8) rods/reels may be used per team/boat. All Canadian and U.S. fishing regulations

(MNR/DNR) will apply.

7) Your designated team number is listed on the “Official Tournament Roster.”Two team number signs will be

provided and are to be attached to the boat, port and starboard. It is the team Captain’s responsibility to

ensure that these signs are clearly visible to other tournament boats. Team boats are not allowed to make

contact with one another, float or pass equipment, fish, bait, ice, coolers, food, drink, etc.

8) ALL BOATS WILL BE CHECKED PRIOR TO DEPARTURE. The Team “puck” will be issued to each boat upon

completion of the morning boat check. No boat/team may depart from the dock or launch prior to having

the boat check completed and the team puck in hand.

9) There will be no designated “stop fishing” time. HOWEVER, the team’s fish cooler must be registered at the

weigh-in line NO LATER THAN 4:00 P.M.SHARP! Any team bringing their fish to the weigh-in after 4:00 p.m.

will be disqualified. It is each team’s responsibility to manage their fishing and running times.

10) The Team “puck” must be returned to the check-in desk when fish are brought to the weigh-in station.

Failure to present your Team “puck” will result in disqualification.

11) The weighing of fish will begin at 4:30 p.m. SHARP!

12) Any fish being entered must be caught by hook and line, and retrieved by rod and reel on legal angling tackle.

Fish must be caught in the mouth. Any fish having cuts, gaff marks, gill net or puncture marks anywhere on

the body will be questioned.

13) FISH LIMIT: A maximum of six (6) walleye may be brought to the stage and presented for the official weigh-

in. The dock master on the long dock MUST clip all fish in excess of the six (6) maximum. Any team bringing

more than six (6) walleye, clipped fish or species other than walleye to the stage will be disqualified from

the tournament.

14) The fish to be weighed in must be presented in a cooler with bagged or blocked ice only. No loose ice is

allowed.

15) Any team entering fish that have been altered in any manner to increase the weight of the fish will be

disqualified.

16) All standings will be determined by weight. A tie for any position will result in the respective prize monies

being split equally.

17) The team representative presenting the fish for weigh-in shall be responsible for verification of the weight

record slip and receive a copy thereof.

18) Disqualification from the tournament will not result in a refund of the team entry fee. Any abuse, verbal or

otherwise, directed towards committee members will result in immediate disqualification.

19) Decisions of the tournament committee are final.

20) All competitors upon registration agree to abide by all tournament rules.

21) All slip fees, launch fees, lodging fees and all other associated fees are the responsibility of each team.

(A) Waive, release, and discharge from any and all liability for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft or actions of any kind which may hereafter accrue to me or my travelling to and from this event, BUDWEISER (Labatt Breweries of Canada), ERIE TRACKER OUTFITTERS LTD., SUGARLOAF MARINA (The City of Port Colborne), and their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives and agents, the event sponsors and event volunteers,

(B) Indemnify and hold harmless all entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from any and all liabilities or claims made by other individuals or entities as a result of my actions during this event.
