He has a breadth of knowledge that is clearly evident. His can-do attitude is matched by his willingness to roll up his sleeves and get the job done. He has become a loved personality on the job-site and DFW staff know if they have a problem, they just need to pick up the phone and call him. His strong work ethic and positive attitude have been witnessed first-hand by DFW.

They almost seem one of us they’ve been here so long, so consistently, and have done/do so much work for us. Two things that really merit attention this past year – their diligence and going over and above on several critical projects. They have an incredible collaborative approach to delivering projects and an unparalleled client focus. They are true partners.

This was the first runway rehabilitation in DFW’s history. The project team overcame seemingly insurmountable challenges (record rainfall ring a bell anyone?, site access challenges, movement area restrictions, etc.). The innovation employed in the project, the amazing collaboration displayed among project team: contractor, designer, OPS, DPS, FAA, etc., and the value of the lessons learned have a direct application on the next runway rehabilitation project and future airfield projects.

Labor shortage is a pressing need for the design/construction industry. Rather than talking about the issue, these three individuals did something about it. Their collaborative partnership was used to build and strengthen DFW’s ties to the local communities, specifically to the youth of our communities through the development of DCC’s first internship program.
