    The working principle

    In one optical fiber , can transmit and receive

    the optical signal with different optical wave through the optical

    splitter of module split the T&R optical signal .

    The dual-end of fiber use the same BIDI SIP , and should be

    During the project ,the BIDI module must used partnership, so its important to

    identify the module

    (BIDI) Module Routine Operation

    The equipment that use the BIDI module , only need change the BIDI SFP

    module , the software and NMS hold the line

    Steo:

    1: pull out the fiber

    2: use BIDI SFP replace the SFP

    3: reinsert the fiber

    1. How to loopback the port with fiber

    ABIDI module can not support the loopback with fiber ,use the inner/outer

    loopback instead of fiber

    2.How to conform the partnership during project

    ABIDI module should be use on the dual-end of the optical fiber , A site and B

    site optical wave opposition.

    3.What need to pay attention during project and maintenance ?

    ALong-haul module used on short distance need add the optical attenuator

    4.If need the special NMS version ? If affect the protection and display ?

    5.How to commissioning

    A1optical powerthe optical power meter wave should be same with module .If

    the power meter not support the 1490nm wave ,can use the 1480 or 1550nm , the

    error about 0.5dbm

    2Service testif the tester can not change the BIDI module ,use the optical

    splitter to switch to Bi-fiber port
