Identifying & Selecting Opportunities
For Improvement
To improve the effectiveness of presentations one must first identify opportunities for improvement
One place to start is to take inventory of what you need to be successful
White boards, projectors and binders can help trainers become more effective
Some administrators have found that combining all of these technologies creates a total classroom presentation solution (Pascopella, 2009)
Soliciting feedback from experienced trainers and leadership can also help one become an effective presenter
Implementing Solutions
Delivering Effective Presentations
Implementing Solutions
Implementing a solutions around delivering effective
presentations requires more than just physical
resources
It requires a commitment from senior management
to position training as a critical component to
success
Senior management commitment to leadership can
have a positive effect on operational performance
(Prabhu & Robson, 2000)
Measuring Success
Delivering Effective Presentations
Measuring Success
In order to know whether or not the commitment
from senior leadership has been effective is to
measure the impact of their commitment
Measurement can come in the form of the kinds of
new resources provided and whether or not the
material presented has been retained and
executed by those who have been taught
