YOUTH GUARANTEETo Whom? To each person under 25 years of age and recent graduates under 30 years of ageWhat? •Will be offered work, work trial, study, workshop or labour market rehabilation place within three months of registration as an unemployed jobseeker. •A pupil completing basic education is guaranteed a place in upper secondary school, VET, apprenticeship training or youth workshop•Person under age of 30 years with no degree or qualification is offered opportunity to complete vocational qualification.

YOUTH GUARANTEE TOOLS • The employment plan at TE office (in two weeks)

NUORTEN TUKI-project (EFS-funded)

Counselling and Guidance Center (CGC)•Individual counselling discussions •eCouncelling office via internet•Summer Councelling Office

•Confidential councelling, strenghtening the life situation and social network, professional aimsetting, supported transfers to education (transitions)

-493 longterm councelling-323 shortterm counselling (under 7 hours)-In the end of counselling 48 % of clients transfered to further studies-Most of the young aged 17-22

Open College

•Study of compulsory subjects and modules of vocational studies•Familiarize with sectors of vocational education and on-the-job-training. •Implementation as labour political education•Permanent co-operation between Open College and CGC helps to make realistic plans for the future (PSP)•Non-stop student intake

START UP WORKSHOP (ESF-PROJECT)

Offers strat up –training to 60 young persons a year. Developing a model for the supporting youngsters with the need of special support For unemployed youngsters in age of 16-28 years with no income.Start up –training: individual coaching, group based coachingSending organisations TE Office, adult social work, mental health services etc.
