April. An Easter treat to celebrate Shakespeare’s birthday -Kemp’s Jig the one man show depicting the 125 mile Morris dance from London to Norwich undertaken by Shakespeare’s forgotten clown, Will Kemp. A “horrible histories” for grown ups, Kemp’s Jig makes Shakespeare accessible by sending him up – his woeful lack of a sense of humour is a running joke throughout the play - and also gives an insight into the unglamorous side of life in Tudor England. tara-arts.com
