What we learned during MTCC
1. Cabling is complex and the debug is not easy:
Lot of cables and connections (few broken)Tower are difficult to access
2. LV system worked in a stable way and without any faults
3. HV boards had instability problems related to the current monitoring (Imon)

I0set influences Imon readout
I0 changed from 800 microA to 750 microA
HV instability conclusion/news1. We were able to reproduce the instability effect at BLG 904 using
resistive charge problem is not related to the detector/cable2. Measuring independently the current on the ground wire we
understood the instability was on the monitored current (Imon) and not on the generated current.
3. The increase let us suspect to a thermal drift of some components and so we begin to use the CAEN fan unit to ventilate the boards.
4. Using the fans the board temperature went down from 31oC to 20oC and for 6 days Imon was very stable but increased on the 7th
5. The of the Imon distribution of the ventilated boards is 0.2 A and it was twice without fan.
6. Hardware power cycle of any board present in the EASY crate affect the offset of all the boards in the crate.
A new firmware from CAEN is almost readsynchronization problem have been fixed !!!No news for thermal drift

• HV installation in control room (6 racks) is underway. W+1 and W+2 are OK. Local cable will be prepared and installed in March
• HV multi-conductor cables will be connected by the CPE company and tested by Napoli people starting from March the 19th.
• CAEN fixed the synchronization problems (Software) but is still working on the HV board thermal instability. Do we have to send back all the boards ?
• HV commissioning of W+1 and W+2 will begin when the cable will be ready (end of March)
• Cable connection on the feet from April (W+1 and W+2)• Full system ready for July

Conclusion
We still have few missing hardware components (tenders in the 2003 and 2004) MAOs is a real problems:
we hope to get 2 MAOs and 1 majiste for commissioning the wheel and the power systems
The CMS LV central system is not ready: feet patch panels have been mounted by us but there are still missing components balcony patch panel ? long run cables ? And patch panels connections ?
Manpower and schedule is OK in the barrel
