    Contractor may a lso he directed to perform additional work or changes to the Work Order authorizedperformance under this contracting arrangement. Such work may only be performed upon issuance ofa duly authorized Work Order Change.Each Work Order issued hereunder shall he subject to individual substantial and final completionprocedures. Work Order close out procedures. and warranties.At h is sole discretion, the Manager of Public Works reserves the right to reject ally or all proposals,modify and re-propose each project and waive informalities in the proposals. The Manager alsoreserves the right to tenninate the pmposal process at any stage and open the Project to general biddingand/or proposals pursuant to public advertisement.

    Section 4 Provosal Submittal Requirements:A. Technical Requirements for the Printed Submission:A printed response is requested in order to obtain detailed information for the selection committeeabout each proposing firm that will assist the committee in making a selection recommendation for aGeneral Contractor. The printed response is not intended to be an elaborate or expensive exercise. Itshould be concise and well composed for simplicity and ease of understanding. Six (6) copies of theprinted response to the RFP shall be submitted by each proposing firm. Each copy sha ll be boundwith the punched GBC binding process; three r ing binders a re not acceptable.Please include the following information in the submittal response to this RFP:

    I. Cover Letter and Statement of InterestBidder/Consultant DisclosureDSBO FormsCertificate of Insurance

    2. Contracting Team Organization Chart:List the exact team of contractor personnel, consultants, and subcontractors who would worko n th is Program and describe their respective roles and responsibilities, Indicate the teamsexperience working on projects with large public agencies and complex administrativeprocesses.3. Key Project Management Personnel:Identify the proposed Project Manager, Project Superintendent, Cost Estimator, and SafetyLead stating the qualifications for providing pre-construction and construction services onthis type, and size, and complexity of project.

    Also include the following for these key personnel:a. Current resumes and job descriptions.b. Minimum number of hours per week these individuals will specifically dedicateto this project during the contractc. Other projects this individual is concurrently scheduled to participate in as amember of another project team throughout the duration of this contract.d. Personal references for this individual in the community outside of construction.

    RECITALS:I. The City has identified a need for highly qualified landscape improvement and irrigationconstruction general contractors to perform. as assigned, discrete projects at Parks and Recreation facilitieson an on-caH or as needed basis (the Program). Program work may include, without limitation,grading, drainage, concrete and asphalt pavements, concrete curbing. landscaping, lawns, and irrigationdepending upon the scope of the Projects assigned (Projects(s)).2. Pursuant to 20-56 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code, the C ity commenced onand advertised for at least three (3) consecutive days, a solicitation for proposals fromqualified general contractors to perform under this Program.3. The Citys solicitation sought on-call general contractors with construction management,supervision and coordination experience and expertise to furnish all construction services, including allwork effort, labor, tools, supplies, manufactured components, equipment, materials, and everything elsenecessary or required to perform each Project assigned under the Program, within limited time periodsand limited budgets.4. The Citys solicitation also sought general contractors that share the Citys longstandingcommitment to quality. efficiency. value , innovat ion, partnering, responsiveness to agency andcommunity needs and compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements in the performance ofconstruction services.5. Proposals received pursuant to said advertisement were reviewed, evaluated and ranked by aselection committee and a recommendation was made to the Manager of Public Works, who determined

    that a contract for the performance as part of the Program be made and entered into wi th the above namedGeneral Contractor.6. The City and the General Contractor now desire to enter into an On-call LandscapeImprovements and Irrigation Construction Services Contract for the performance of construction servicesas par t o f the Program.7. The Gener al Contractor is willing, able and has the present capacity to perform allconstruction services, as an independent contractor, required by the Program, in accordance with thisConstruction Contract, said advertisement and the referenced selection documents.

    2.2 The intent of the Contract Documents is to include all terms, conditions, work i tems andservices necessary or required for the proper execution and completion of each Work O rder. Work items or services not covered in the Work Order or Contract Documents will berequired unless t hey a re no t consistent with the Work Order or Contract Documents and a re not inferablefrom the Work Order o r th e Contract Documents as being necessary to produce the result intended by theWork Order.
