Introduction
Introduction
International scientific cooperation is considered as indispensable component for developing and funding of scientific, technological and innovation projects/programmes. In Morocco, international cooperation contributes to the financing of R & D activities by 2% of the overall budget devoted to scientific research,
In the last ten years, Morocco has adopted a proactive policy to establish partnership and cooperation with several parties at national level and in the framework of international cooperation. Several measures concerning the strengthening of international cooperation have been taken into account in the 2017-2021 action plan. The aim is to benefit from international sources of funding and to involve Moroccan researchers in networks and international research projects.
Introduction
Morocco and the EU has signed an agreement on scientific and technological
cooperation in June 2003 in objective to facilitate the opening of European
Research Area in Morocco through the participation of Moroccan teams in the
Framework Programs for Research and Development PCRD.
To encourage this participation, the Ministry set up the national contact point
(NCP) in 2005 with the support of the EC and Institutional Contact Points
(ICP) in Universities and Research Centers.

Awareness in the scientific community
about calls for proposals and rules for participation in European calls for projects;
Disseminate of general and specific documentation on calls for proposals;
Inform about other programs/networks (COST,.....);

2.Assist and Accompany
• Advise on the procedures for submission to European calls for projects ;
• Help to find partners ; • Organize training and information sessions
3. Communicate information to policymakers
• Disseminate the results of Moroccan participation to policymakers concerned by scientific research.
• Provide feedback to the EC and in particular through bilateral meetings between Morocco and EU (SCRI and CGACST).
